Q&A WITH MIGGY BO
Q: How did you get into music?
A: We got started doin' music just because we we're bored. After a while we started to notice that we actually had a nack for this
Q: How did you get your names? And group name?
A: The group came from a lot of fooling around and then one day we had a name that abbreviated to YH Click. It sounded cool so we said let's go with that. Miggy Bo came about pretty much the same way and I thought "My name is Miguel and my nickname has always been Miggy why not chane it up a bit", and Bo kinda fell into place.
Q: How long do you know each other? How is that relationship been since your music career began?
A: We're brothers and well you can kinda get the picture we've always been together. We actually got a lot closer after we got into the game together.
Q: Where are you from? Does that play a part in your music?
A: I am from East Vallejo, CA, born and raised! No not really it's just a lot of partying, experiences in life, and having that good vibe.
Q: Who influences you in music? Do you base your music off that person?
A: Mac Dre because we're both from Vallejo and I grew up listing to him. No, not really but he did have a big impact on how present my music, party music, something that everyone can relate to.
Q: Most people in the Rap game come from broken homes and rough backgrounds, this is what motivates them. Does this motivate you?
A: No, I can't say that I came from a rough background because if I did then I would've rapped about it.
Q: What do you expect to get out of the music game?
A: To be noticed and to make a name for myself.
Q: Who have you done a collaboration with and who do you wish to do one with? And why?
A: A$AP Rocky would be the one person that would most prefer to do a collaboration with. He is has a dope flowin' style.
Q: What are your future expectations for the next five years?
A: To be successful in music, tour the world, and make a real long lasting impact on the music world!
Q: What can we expect from YH Click?
A: You expect nonstop grindin'
Ever since I was little I started listing to rap. Then one day me and my brother got together and started messin' around with the music just to pass the time. It's wasn't till a couple years later that we started to notice that we actually had skills for this. "Self Made Self Paid" was the name of the first mix tape that we ever did together. This was after my brother started to drop a pretty dope beat. We met IamFresh the producer that has been supplying us with beats we have now. About a year and a half after we made our first mixtape was when we met him. We've known IamFresh for about two years now.
